Enquiry information is used by Resolve Scaffolding Ltd to respond to you and manage our services. We do not sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Providers supporting our website and communications process information where necessary to deliver their services. These include:
Umbraco Cloud: website hosting and temporary storage of form submissions.
GoDaddy and Microsoft: provision and support of our business email service.
Cloudflare: where used by our website hosting infrastructure to deliver traffic and provide security.
CookieScript: management of website cookie preferences.
Website support providers: where access is necessary and authorised to maintain the website or resolve a technical issue.
Where a provider processes personal information on our behalf, appropriate data protection terms must govern that processing. Access should be limited to what is necessary for the service.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Storage and international processing
Form submissions are stored in Umbraco Cloud and sent to our business email inbox, provided through GoDaddy and Microsoft. Deleting a submission from Umbraco does not delete the email copy.
Our service providers may use infrastructure or support services outside the United Kingdom. The arrangements applicable to a particular service determine where information is processed.
Where processing involves a restricted international transfer, we must ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism applies. This may be UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, together with any additional protections required.
You can contact us for information about the international transfer arrangements relevant to your information and how to obtain details of applicable safeguards.
8. How long we keep information
Umbraco form submissions: retained for 30 days.
Enquiries that do not lead to work: email correspondence and attachments are deleted from the business inbox 12 months after the last contact, unless particular records remain necessary for a dispute or legal obligation.
Enquiries that lead to work: relevant information becomes part of the customer and project record. We retain it while arranging and delivering the work and afterwards where needed for outstanding payments, contractual responsibilities, complaints or potential legal claims. The applicable legal claim periods and any ongoing matter determine the retention period.
Invoice and accounting records: retained for the period required by the tax and accounting rules applicable to the relevant record.
Technical records and cookie preferences: retained according to their operational or security purpose and the applicable service settings. Cookie durations are available through the website's cookie information.
Relevant information may be retained for longer where required for an ongoing legal matter. When it is no longer needed, we delete it securely or anonymise it. Residual backup copies may remain until they expire under the provider's backup cycle.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies can also store or access information on your device.
We use CookieScript to manage cookie preferences. Our website infrastructure may also use technologies necessary to deliver requested website functions and protect the service.
Information about the cookies actually used, their providers, purposes and durations is available through the CookieScript cookie information and settings on this website.
Where a technology qualifies for a legal exemption from consent, such as being strictly necessary to provide a service you request, it may operate without consent. Where consent is required, we must obtain it before that technology is activated.

If we introduce Google Analytics or advertising tracking technologies, we will ask for your consent before activating them. You will be able to accept or reject them and withdraw consent through our cookie settings. Refusing consent will not prevent you from making an enquiry or using our scaffolding services.
Submitting our enquiry form does not subscribe you to promotional emails or text messages. Any future direct marketing will be subject to applicable legal requirements, including consent where required and an appropriate way to opt out.
10. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for their work.
